Description:	This program aims to give participants introductory training in wine appreciation, covering all the major grape varieties. Participants learn how to taste wines professionally and how to evaluate a wine. Basic wine production will be discussed relating to the final product as well as advice on handling, maturing and cellaring wines.

Description:	Master of Wine Phil Reedman will host a one-off special evening at the Sydney Wine Academy. Phil will conduct a comparative tasting of Bordeaux and classic Australian Cabernets/blends that highlight the communes of Bordeaux against Australia’s premium Cabernet regions. A range of vintages from 2003-2009 will be presented with the great 2005 Bordeaux vintage being well represented.
