    DET username and password    

     Your DET username and password enables you to access:

• Computers on campus
• Library online resources at the eResources Portal
• Student SharePoints (Click the name of your college for access: Crows Nest, Hornsby, Meadowbank, North Sydney, Northern Beaches, Ryde)
• DET Portal which includes your Email accounts
• Sakai - Collaboration and Learning Environment (CLE)
• Student eServices where you can check your details, exam results or request your transcript

     You can find your DET username and password on the bottom of your enrolment 

     receipt. If no password has been created, contact Student Administration or ask

     library staff for help.

Even though most of the NSI Libraries are closed for some time during the holidays, second semester 2008 students will still have 24/7 access to our eResources. Your DET username and password will be still valid to the end of the holidays.

     FA Davis Nursing eBooks

Our collection of FA Davis eBooks (currently 23 titles) provides 24/7 online access to medical, nursing, and health profession texts and reference resources for students, nurses, and health professionals. Our collection also includes a cyclopedic medical dictionary, which provides definitions and information needed for patient care.

Oxford Art Online

This innovative new gateway into art research and access point for Oxford art reference subscriptions and publications includes Grove Art Online, The Oxford Companion to Western Art, Encyclopedia of Aesthetics and The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms.

Grove Art Online provides access to 23,000 subject entries, 21,000 biographies, 500,000 bibliographic citations, 40,000 image links and 5,000 images.

TVNews indexes and abstracts Australian news items, current affairs and documentaries from free-to-air networks since August 2007. You can download video content straight to your desktop or flash drive. Most programs are available the next working day. Coverage includes:

Australian story, Behind the news, 60 minutes, Four corners, Lateline and all the major news broadcasts.
