Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) website. Includes statistics and some analysis of information from the National Census and other sources.  Allows for the creation of local area profiles.

ANZRC

Australia/New Zealand Reference Centre - EBSCO's searchable database provides full text, and index access to many local and international magazines, newspapers and reference books. Most general subjects are covered.

Art & Architecture Complete

Art & Architecture Complete - BETA is a comprehensive bibliographic database that provides cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for more than 630 academic journals, magazines and trade publications with full text for over 240 periodicals and 140 books, as well as selective coverage for over 50 publications. The database has been designed for use by a diverse audience that includes art scholars, artists, designers, college students, and general viewers.

Computers & Applied Sciences

Computers & Applied Sciences Complete (CASC) covers the research and development spectrum of the computing and applied sciences disciplines. CASC provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,800 academic journals, professional publications, and other reference sources from a diverse collection. Full text is also available for more than 730 periodicals.

Gale databases

Gale databases provide access to periodical and news information on a diverse set of topics. The sub-collection General OneFile includes over 6,300 full-text titles and 400 newspaper services (a total of more than 11,000 titles). Also included in the subscription are the Fine Arts and Music Collection and General Reference Center Gold.

Oxford Art Online

This innovative new gateway into art research and access point for Oxford art reference subscriptions and publications includes Grove Art Online, The Oxford Companion to Western Art, Encyclopedia of Aesthetics and The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms.

Grove Art Online provides access to 23,000 subject entries, 21,000 biographies, 500,000 bibliographic citations, 40,000 image links and 5,000 images.

Oxford Reference Online - Premium

 

A searchable collection of 175+ key Oxford reference publications covering 25 subject areas. Includes bilingual dictionaries, encyclopaedias, subject reference, quotations, maps & illustrations and 42 x 20th century timelines.


Students: use your DET username and password with EDU\ in front of the username (e.g. EDU\john.smith).

The NSW TAFE Library catalogue lists all the resources held in NSW TAFE libraries. You can search by keyword, author, title and subject and also limit searches to specific types of materials and specific college libraries.
