Electrotechnology courses

Gaining a qualification in electrotechnology or telecommunications can fast-track your career in a high-demand, rapidly growing industry.

You can start with the Certificate II in electrotechnology to gain the basic skills and use your training as a pathway to higher level qualifications. The Certificate III courses in Electrical Machine Repair, Electrotechnology Electrician, Switchgear and Controlgear can equip you with solid skills and knowledge to see you working within the electrical industry - these courses are available as part of an apprenticeship. With the Certificate IV electrical and electronics courses you can further refine your skills to work as an electrician and specialist in your field.

If your focus is on audio-visuals, computers networks, voice and data systems or security systems then the electronics and communications stream might be for you. We offer Certificate III and IV programs in electronics and communications through to the Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering.
