Developed by Charles Sturt University (CSU) and offered in partnership with the TAFE NSW Northern Sydney, the Bachelor of Business Studies (CRICOS Code: 029254F) is a unique educational pathway that allows you to progress from a certificate IV, diploma or advanced diploma into the degree. This university program is delivered by teachers selected by CSU at the Northern Sydney Institute’s Crows Nest Campus.

You will learn about the fundamental components of a modern business, including accounting, management and leadership, marketing and HR.

By completing a relevant diploma or advanced diploma, you can continue your studies at the Northern Sydney Institute and graduate with a Bachelor of Business Studies from Charles Sturt University (CSU).

Course fees and fee-help information

For Australian or New Zealand citizens or who have permanent residency status in Australia the degree component of the pathway program is supported under Commonwealth Supported Places and students can elect to either pay their contribution or to defer their payment through a HECS-HELP loan, which is repaid through the taxation system once your income reaches a certain threshold.

Entry requirements

Entry to the Bachelor of Business Studies through CSU is open to students with one of the following qualifications:

To enter the degree with a Diploma, students must have completed the equivalent of 12 months full-time study. To enter the degree with an Advanced Diploma, students must have completed the equivalent of 18 months full-time study.

How to apply

Applications are open for Semester 1, 2017, and first round applications will close on
6 Feburary 2017.

If you’ve already completed an eligible diploma or advanced diploma, applying for the degree is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:

  • Complete a CSU Application for Admission form
  • Attach a copy of your diploma or advanced diploma transcript and verified supporting documents
  • Post or deliver your completed CSU Admission form to the Northern Sydney Institute's Crows Nest Campus:
