Description

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a wide range of general information and communications technology (ICT) technical functions and to achieve a degree of self-sufficiency as an advanced ICT user.

Persons working at this level will support information technology activities in the workplace across a wide range of ICT areas, including:
** technical support,
** network administration,
** web technologies,
** software applications and
** digital media technologies.

This training is subsidised by the NSW Government under Smart and Skilled.

To be eligible for the Smart and Skilled subsidised fee you must be an Australian or NZ citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder. You must also be over 15, no longer at school, and live or work in NSW. See our Smart and Skilled page for full details.

The sessions are on Wednesday 8 November 2017 - 6pm, Wednesday 15 November 2017 - 6pm, Wednesday 22 November 2017 - 6pm, Wednesday 29 November 2017 - 6pm, Wednesday 6 December 2017 - 11am and 6pm, Wednesday 13 December 2017 - 11am and 6pm. All Sessions are in Building G, Level 1, Room G109. Classes are held on Monday to Friday (3 to 4 days per week between 8:30am and 5:30pm).

This is the Programming & Web Design stream of the Certificate III course. This stream covers the Programming (in Visual Basic) as well as Web Design components in it. It is suitable to those who intend to progress into Programming & Software Development area. This course has 16 hours/week for 18 weeks.
