Description

This course is for people wanting to work as a tradesperson or horticulturist in the horticulture industry. You will learn about a wide range of plants; safe on the job WHS practices and implementing environmentally sustainable work practices, as well as skills from selected areas, which could include: soils; nutrition; chemicals use; tree maintenance; establishing plants; weeds; pests; propagation and irrigation.

Advanced standing entry from any Horticulture Certificate II course.

TAFE NSW fee

When you enrol, you will need to pay a TAFE NSW fee, unless you qualify for a fee exemption or fee concession. The 2014 TAFE NSW annual fee for this course is $838 annual fee or $419 for enrolments of one semester or less. Cash is not accepted.

Course related charges

$20 The materials charge will cover bus hire for excursions and entry fees as required.
