NSI is committed to acquiring, organising and sharing knowledge assets to enable us to realise our vision.
We continue to develop a knowledge-sharing culture in line with the strategic directions of the Institute by encouraging and supporting the collection and sharing of tacit and explicit knowledge across NSI spaces, developing and continuously improving our systems and processes, and recognising and promoting staff achievement though a mix of fact-to-face and online processes and systems.
Systems Development and Website Improvement
SharePoint 2000 software was upgraded to SharePoint Portal 2003, which involved the review and transfer of data from over 400 teaching and administrative SharePoint websites. 17 sharepoint websites were specifically created to support the new Institute strategic-team structure, implemented in early 2006, and allowing the new teams to capture and share strategic knowledge.
